ritus is a piece that invites us to reconsider the relationship humans have with religion and spiritual beliefs, particularly focusing on the deep-seated "need" to believe and the ideas and roots behind each connection. Through this work, the artist confronts his own personal limits and barriers, questioning not only how we are conditioned but also his own perception of religion.
The piece is composed of various rock fragments, each representing the individuality of the human being. These fragments are placed on a stainless steel plate, positioned in such a way that they are clustered together, unable to leave due to fear or need.
